Chapter 61- Back Home

The night was quiet for everyone. As always, temple activities ends after 11 PM, and everyone gone sleep. Outdoor light bulbs were turned off, except for a few which dimly lit the streets.
Botan wakes up midnight and sees Youko right in front of her. She sweetly stares at him and avoids even a touch to not wake him up because he has gone to sleep late and appears to be in a deep sleep.
Later, in the dawn, Yomi wakes up first. Shura wake up as well because they share the same bed;

-Aaahh Dad, why wake up so soon ... - Shura rubs his eyes.
-Good morning, Shura. Today is going to be a long day, don't you remember why we came here?-Yomi smiles.
-Oh, that's true! Are you going to call Yuxi when you arrive?
-Hahaha I didn't think about it, Shura, but I confess it's a good idea.

Yomi follows his routine and takes shower. Youko and Botan wake up a few moments after. The first thing she does, of course, is fondle Youko's ears;

-Naaa ... good morning my foxy husband.- Botan smiles.
-Good morning, my peony. Did you sleep well?
-Yes I did, you were beside me, and... it was magnificent...
-Hahaha you haven't seen anything yet ... Well, now I'll let Shuichi appear as my mission here was fulfilled.
-Do that, my dear.- Botan kisses Youko in the cheek.

Shuichi regains control in a moment, and Youko disappears. Botan smiles and gets up;

-Hi, Shuichi. Today we'll go back home sooner than planned, Yomi wants to go before mid-morning, so we should hurry up.
-Right, Botan.

In a near room, Byakuya and Shiori have already packed their stuff up and have bathed, and next they go to the kitchen. Kurama and Botan arrived there, alongside Yomi and Shura;

-Good morning Yomi, Shura, are you ok?-Shuichi greets them.
-Oh, Shuichi, good morning. Has Youko decided to go back?-Shura smiles.
-Yes, he was here most of the time because of Kuronue, and I'm glad he has achieved his goal.
-We too, Shuichi, hahaha! I never saw someone changing so quickly, in the end, Kuronue finally accepted me.-Yomi laughs.
-Yeah, maybe... he accepted you in his way, don't expect to receive roses from him any time soon.
-Not wanting to kill me all the time is already a breakthrough...

This time, Botan and Kurama make the breakfast, and, contrary to what Botan said, Kurama knows how to "command the stove" very well, and this was thoroughly tested by Byakuya:

-Kurama, I made some stuffed bread yesterday, but yours is yummy, that's delicious!
-Hahaha I'm glad you liked it, Byakuya, I'm glad to be praised by a specialist.
-Well, I'm not a super chef right now, but I will be one day... - Byakuya smiles.

They have a fast breakfast. As everyone has already packed up their bags, Yomi just needed to pay the bills from the stay in the temple's reception, which he did quickly.
There, Wutang and Shizu greeted Yomi and his friends for the stay;

 -Thank you very much for your visit in our complex. We hope you have enjoyed the experience, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Shiori goes to Shizu and hugs him, just as Botan plays with Wutang;

-Our stay was great, if the incident with my Byakuya hadn't happened, it would have been perfect ...ah, and thank you for helping me on that occasion, Shizu... you dress like a handsome God...- Shiori smiles.

Shizu smiles broadly at Shiori;

-Well, that's it. Let's go back home?-Kurama goes to the limousine.
-Yes, now.-Yomi follows him.

Kurama takes over the direction of the vehicle. They leave the temple and take the road, where the traffic is light, which allows Kurama to maintain a constant speed of 130 kilometers per hour;

-I know you want to have the surgery to cure your blindness just now, don't you, Yomi?-Kurama says without taking his eyes off the road.
-Yes, I'll plan this surgical operation by tomorrow. As far as I know, you will have to go to Mr. Enma Daioh today to get your evaluation results.
-Oh, that's right! It's good that we leave early so I'll do it as soon as I arrive in Yomitan.
-What will my father say? He left no rule in this test, has everything worked well? -

The landscapes are now even more interesting due the heavier clouds formed by the heat. The temperature in Yomitan is already at 36 degrees, and it's only 10 in the morning. Single cell storms are already forming around the city, and taller buildings are struck by lightning. Kurama reduced the speed as heavy rain begins to fall;

-How much water!- Botan is impressed.
-The day must have been very damp in Yomitan.

In a few minutes, Kurama arrives at Yomitan City Hall building. His house, destroyed by Yuxi, is already starting to be rebuilt, and may be completed well before the 3-month deadline set by Yomi. He will resume his routine after three days at rest, which will include new clashes with Yuxi. This brief vacation reinvigorated both Yomi and Kurama, especially after meeting with Kuronue after hundreds of years far.
