He focuses deeply to locate Botan's energy and so be able to "see" her. The bluish aura surrounding him is growing.
After a minute, his aura is so bright that people 250 kilometers away can see his glow as a star. The uninhabited region that is 7km below is lit as if there were a full moon.
At full power, the detection range is increased from 50km to 450km with pinpoint accuracy, or 5,000 km with a 1km error. Yomitan produces strong energetic interference due to its 3-million inhabitants, but he can easily distinguish Botan's energy from the others.
However, there is no evidence that she is nearby. Youko sees a thin tail of residual energy that makes an almost vertical trajectory toward the sky and suddenly disappears;

Youko reduces his concentration, and consequently his energy drops, reducing the brightness of his aura until it disappears. He then came back to Yomitan, now slower due to fatigue, taking around 25 minutes to get home. When he arrives, he returns to his human form, and so goes to sleep to allow Youko rest and recover himself.
