Chapter 76 - Hard split

During the rest of the afternoon, Kurama was teaching Yomi how to sign the contracts and interpret them. Yomi learns fast and normally only needs to be taught once. As Kurama's student, he did very well.
Accompanied by Kagura, Kuronue stares at Yomi from afar. She notices the extra attention Kuronue pays to Yomi instead of her:

-Kuronue is acting differently because of these two, what happened?- She thought.

 Yomi's facial features were attractive, his eyes were beautiful, and now that he could see, he took some extra care in his already good looks. Taking a shower while being able to see was something much better and more comfortable than relying on electronic sensors.
Yomi also looks at Kuronue with interest. Despite the shock of the past, Kuronue now behaves friendly, something that surprised even Youko, who expected a more violent reaction. Kagura's presence, in a way, could be the reason, as her nights with Kuronue tend to be very, very "busy", not far off from what Youko and Botan experience regularly.
Yomitan is a much better city than Huangguang, especially in terms of services, employability,
convenience and infrastructure, in addition to the lower costs of living, and this is a reason for Kuronue to move there, although the closest proximity to Youko would be the key factor. Kagura feels comfortable moving there as well, for her, Yomitan seems to be a pleasant and safe city.

Yomi couldn't feel any better than now. He has virtually no enemies of any real importance anymore, except for Yuxi, but he is just a foolish politician. Yuxi, who, incidentally, has already lost any hope of winning, a more daring action would publicly expose him as a bad person. That would be political suicide;

-Yomi, I want us to have some time alone tonight. I need to talk to you about something very serious.- Shuichi approaches Yomi's desk, carrying some papers with him.
-It's okay, Shuichi, you can talk to me whenever you want.- Yomi smiles. 

Shuichi walks away and goes to his desk to conclude the analysis of the remaining contracts, to later pass them on to Yomi. Kuronue entered the room, quite excited. He went straight to Kurama's room, and goes to him; 

-So, Shuichi, how's work going? 

-Ah Kuronue… contracts and treaties to evaluate… it's a bit boring. -Yomi seems a little bored too, don't you think? 

-He's always been like that. He is used to sitting for long periods.
-How annoying! Why don't we have some fun later?
-Yes, Kuronue, why not? Hahaha!- Shuichi smiles.
-Okay, it could be after your work hours. I'm going to meet Hoshiyomi now, I'm enjoying talking to him.
-Hoshiyomi is a nice person and well-experienced, he can talk about anything.
-I noticed that! I'm going to meet him, see you soon!
-Go there, Kuronue. 

Kuronue leaves the room, not before looking at Yomi, who, upon seeing him, smiles and winks his right eye. Kagura passes through the corridor and bumps into her husband; 

-What were you doing inside Yomi's room, you bastard?- She smiles. 

-Ah, nothing… stop it, my flower, you know who my heart belongs to.- Kuronue kisses Kagura.

Kagura deepens the kiss, caressing Kuronue's neck on its back, then plays with his ears. They end the kiss, and she slides her hands over his face, looking deeply into his eyes and making a sweet face; 

-Your heart belongs to Youko, hahaha- Kagura laughs. 

-Ah, my love… don't say such a thing…-Kuronue blushes.- I like Youko, but I like you more..-he lowers his head.

Kagura bends down and smiles; 

-I know you love me, my youkai... 

After that brief embarrassment, Kagura and Kuronue walked together until they met Tsukiyomi and Hoshiyomi. Byakuya and Shiori were in his room, he lying on the bed, and she looking at Yomitan past the window;

-What will this represent in terms of changes, Byakuya?
-About Yomi opening his eyes? I don't know, honey. The fact is, he will now be totally independent, and that's good for him.
-Yes… aaahh and what beautiful eyes Yomi has… he looks even calmer now.
-Yes! I loved how those eyes sparkle, their iris seems to be made of gold, and their pupils are black and deep…

Shiori goes to the bed, and lays down next to Byakuya, watching his purple eyes; 

-Because you are so beautiful... do I deserve this?- Shiori blushes. 

-Do I deserve a human as beautiful and cute as you?- Byakuya smiles.

Koenma and Botan are on the roof of the building, looking at the city from above; 

-After thinking about everything that happened, I can tell you that I am very grateful and I don't regret anything I did, and you, Botan? 

-I think the same, Koenma… and to think that all this started due to my carelessness on a train, hahaha! -I think it was cast in your destiny that Kurama would cross your path. 

-Aaahhh Koenma… I love him so much, but sometimes I'm scared of losing him… to Yomi… hahaha, I know he loves me too, but it seems his heart is split. 

-Hahaha Botan, assume that you're jealous!

-I? NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN!!-Botan screams.
-What do you expect after everything Yomi did and still does for him? I'm sure that Yomi's heart belongs entirely to Kurama. But I don't think he's split, you and Yomi may be equally loved by him.
-You mean that my Kurama… is homosexual?
-No, far from it, hahaha. Otherwise, he wouldn't risk so much for you.
-You're right… my Kurama has suffered a lot lately… and he did everything to have me…
-Exactly! Look how he loves you! About Yomi, let them proceed, this will make Yomi more and more sociable and friendly, after all, he won't remain the mayor of this city forever. Afterwards, he will have to live like a normal person, and the fact that he regained his sight was essential.
-But what if my Kurama goes too far on this?

Kurama had finished the period of work, and was warned by Yomi, in his usual punctuality; 

-Kurama, enough for today. You're free, don't forget your conversation later, I'll wait for you in my room from 9 pm.-Yomi smiles. 

-Okay, Yomi.

Kurama gets up and walks to the corridor. As expected, Kuronue is already there waiting for him;

-And then, Kurama. Are we going to have some fun or not?-Kuronue smiles.
-Of course, Kuronue! Where are we going?
-Well, let me see… give me your hand. -Kuronue offers his open hand.
-Yes!- Kurama gives Kuronue his left hand. 

Kuronue walks with Kurama for a few meters, until he arrives at the door of his room. He opens the door and pulls Kurama inside, locking the door afterwards;

-Hahaha I think I know what you want, Ku-ro-nu-e.- Kurama makes a mocking expression.
-Hahaha stop it! I just want to show you some things…
-Some things… I know, hahaha! 

Kuronue goes to his wardrobe and brings a box with some jewellery, sitting on the bed next to; 

-Come and take a look at my amulets, Kurama. You may switch to Youko if that's what he wants. 

-Hahaha but it's obvious that Youko wants to be here, and I'll let him. 

-Do it!- Kuronue smiles. 

Kurama switches to Youko, fulfilling his own and Kuronue's wishes; 

-Happy now?

Youko throws himself on the bed, next to Kuronue, who is holding the box he is carrying so as not to drop the jewels

-So, show me those ordinary riverside gravels you have there.-Youko smiles.
-Hey!!! Hahaha, they are expensive!
-Byakuya will be able to evaluate them and price them if that's the case, but for his standards, he still has to polish and work it a lot.

Kuronue throws himself on Youko, knocking him down on the bed and getting on top of him, facing him;

Kuronue kisses Youko deeply, and he likes it. He slides his hands down on Kuronue's back, making him euphoric; 

-Don't behave in such a depraved manner, Youko… there's still a lot you can do… 

-I don't care. Shuichi is out of the game anyway… 

Youko completely fulfils Kuronue's request, almost repeating what he had done in the temple complex. And like in the temple, only the walls will know about the moves that Youko and Kuronue performed together on that bed...
